Who are these people???!!! It's as if Lyn and Clark are new characters and not ones with a history over several prior books. The major reason I was interested in reading Lyn and Clark's story was because of Lyn's close relationship with Laney and Eddie. That relationship totally disappeared in this book. Lyn went MONTHS without close contact with his two best friends and never let them in on his life-changing plans. Not something close friends do. The excuse the writer gave was that Lyn didn't want his friends to talk him out of his plan. Soooooo LAME. No need for me to read any more of Stormy Glenn's book series after the first couple of books. There's little to no character continuity. Rating: 3.5 starsWell we finally get Lyn and Clarkes story. I did enjoy it for the most part. It was way over the top and frankly you can’t delve too carefully into the plot because there are plot holes galore, but it is still very enjoyable. I’ve been a fan of the Hot Mess series so over the top unbelievable plot lines are to be expected. I think what brought down the book for me was Clarke. I didn’t like him. At all. He got a little better at the end but not much. If I was Lyn, I wouldn’t have given him the time of day. I would have much rather the book been exclusively from Lyn’s perspective. I really hope future books in this series focus on other couples and not this one.
